Hairspray at Casa Maana Theatre

Andrew Levitt, known as Nina West, will portray Edna Turnblad in the acclaimed musical Hairspray at Casa Maana Theatre from February 28 to March 8. Levitt gained fame on RuPaul's Drag Race and has an extensive background in theater, including a previous role as Edna in the national tour of Hairspray.

Hairspray, a Tony Award-winning production, is set in 1962 Baltimore and follows Tracy Turnblad, a passionate teen aspiring to dance on The Corny Collins Show. The musical celebrates themes of inclusion and self-acceptance through its vibrant characters and energetic performances.

The cast features Kaitlyn Louise Smith as Tracy Turnblad and Nick Cortazzo as Link Larkin, among others. Directed and choreographed by Gerry McIntyre, with music direction by Phil Reno, the show promises a dynamic theatrical experience.
